Northern Gas Gala

Community & Environment Protection Collective

About

The Northern Gas Gala is an ongoing event – an invite to come to Barton Moss to resist iGas and their drilling plans. It was formed as a focussed side-project to the Frack Free Greater Manchester campaign.

It takes its inspiration from The Great Gas Gala, which took place in Balcombe, Sussex from the first day of exploratory drilling in summer 2013.

The Northern Gas Gala website is updated daily by people living in Greater Manchester, some of whom are staying at the Barton Moss Protection Camp. You can contact us by email (info [at] northerngasgala.org.uk  or tweet us @NorthernGasGala.

If you’re looking to get involved in anti-fracking in Greater Manchester, check out our events page and local groups here.
